The Flint River and the Drinking Water Crisis

7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Northville District Library
Carlo Meeting Room

Event Details

When Flint chose to switch its drinking water source to the Flint River, inadequate treatment coupled with terrible government oversight and an aged drinking water infrastructure led to the catastrophe that made national and international headlines. Rebecca Fedewa of the Flint River Watershed Coalition will talk about how the river took on much of the blame, but we know that #itsnottheriver.
