Event Details

So you want to be a storyteller?  It does not matter if you are telling stories at the Moth, with friends, sharing family history or entertaining adults or children, all great stories have similar elements.  In this workshop participants will learn the basics of crafting a good story as well as get the opportunity to get up and tell.

Jeff Doyle is a professional storyteller/humorist who travels the country entertaining audiences. He started telling stories around the campfire to kids with his favorite tale The Blue Ape.  Before long he was writing and telling original stories for both kids and adults.  His tales are wild, funny, sometimes scary, but all keep you on the edge of your seat!

Join us as Jeff walks us through the process of writing and telling imaginative and original stories.  See some of Jeff’s Stories at

Event will be held at Maybury State Park in the Walnut Shelter (entrance on 8 Mile Rd).
